Applying to ESL programs at UCI

If you want to apply to one of the ESL programs at UCI Division of Continuing Education, do this:
  • Download the application form at the right and fill it out.
  • Send your completed application to us by email, regular mail, or fax, and pay all applicable fees with MasterCard, VISA, American Express, or a check issued by a bank in the U.S.

Tuition and Payment

  • Full-time tuition for the Conversation & Culture or Business English Program is $2,300 per 4-week session.
  • Tuition includes four hours per day of core English classes, Monday through Friday.
  • Textbook cost: Full-time students: About $110 per 4-week course.  Part-time students: About $60 per 4-week course.
  • Information about other fees, such as application and health insurance fees, is available on our main website.

Refund Policy
If you enroll in one of our programs but cannot attend or need to leave early, this is our policy for refunds of tuition and fees:
Time of Cancellation
Week 0 (Before classes begin):
Week 1 (First week of class):
Week 2 and after:
Amount of Refund
100% of refundable items minus $100 cancellation fee
50% refund on refundable fees
No refunds in week 2 and beyond
